that was a tough month, some good came out of it though.

This is the most optimistic ive felt about this team since they began the tank

they should have been last season...

say what you will (not you personally,) but injuries and coaching, and i'll even go as far as saying the NHL's schedule-maker, put them in a position to fail...which is what they did

Murray had been with the club since January, 2014 and had signed a three-year contract extension in the Fall of 2017.

Murray is getting rehired this fall?!? Jk, nice write up.

I don't think i even watched the April games. That was the worst month to be a Sabres fan since before the the tank IMO. Dashed hopes and a sense of malaise

Just looking at the schedule for October, I came up with 6-4-2

I forgot, but what was our Win% with and without Eichel?

If I remember correctly I don't think it was a big difference.

I'd like to see the rolling average of our team Save%, along with goals per game, to see how different the team played once Eichel came back.

I'd like to think that Bylsma had them playing a bit more agressivley once he returned.

If he didnt, that's cause for his firing.

forget the analytics, how about watching the game...or how about counting how many times the term "parked the bus" was used?

wadr, Bylsma did not do a good job of coaching as he failed to adapt to not only Eichel's presence, but also in-game...he was married to his system and got fired

Our record or win % from the first 21 games, compared to the last 61.

I do, and every single NHL team "parks the bus" at times when defending a lead.

If I'm reading this correctly we were worse offensively?
